300 m³/min of Temporary Air network. Zero Production Downtime.

When a critical compressed-air pipeline had to be replaced, shutting down production was not an option. Z Rental installed 13 temporary compressors to keep the plant fully operational throughout the project.

The challenge

The existing compressed-air pipeline was a critical part of the production infrastructure. Replacing it required the pipeline to be taken completely out of service—while production still needed to continue.

The challenge was to create a temporary compressed-air infrastructure capable of meeting continuous demand without interrupting production.

‍

The vision

Z Rental approached the project from the perspective of business continuity. The compressors, connections, positioning, and integration were designed as one complete temporary system.

The objective was clear: enable the pipeline replacement while keeping the plant safely and fully operational.

The solution

Z Rental supplied and installed 13 compressors, each delivering approximately 25 m³/min and providing a combined capacity of more than 300 m³/min.

The compressors operated simultaneously and were connected to the plant’s existing infrastructure. Equipment, installation, and technical support came together in one integrated temporary air system.

The result

The temporary system provided the required capacity throughout the pipeline replacement. Critical maintenance was completed safely and efficiently, without shutting down production.

The result was a reliable and scalable air supply that protected operational continuity throughout the project.

One critical pipeline offline.
One temporary system keeping production moving.
